During the month of April 2012, the Civic Coalition for Palestinian Rights in Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Land Research Center (LRC), recorded violations of Palestinian rights, both at the hands of the Israeli authorities and Israeli settlers. These included, but were not limited to, violations of residency rights, and land confiscations for the sake of illegal Israeli settlement in East Jerusalem.

3 April 2012, MA'AN - Israel's Supreme Court ruled on Monday that a prominent Palestinian family could not claim ownership of a landmark and now derelict building in East Jerusalem - paving the way for a Jewish settlement project.

During the month of March 2012, the Civic Coalition for Palestinian Rights in Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Land Research Center (LRC), recorded many violations of Palestinian rights at the hands of Israeli authorities and Israeli settlers. Of particular noe during this month were attacks targeting children, including their right to education, and peaceful demonstrators on Land Day.

30 March 2012, MA'AN - Israeli forces fire tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters across the occupied West Bank on Friday, as Palestinians commemorated Land Day and marched toward Jerusalem.

30 March 2012, +972 MAGAZINE - Tens of thousands of people participated in Land Day demonstrations in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the Negev and the Galilee, as well as in Jordan and Lebanon. One person was killed, many were injured - several critically - and several were arrested in clashes with the Israeli army and police. Hamas and Fatah also attacked demonstrators.
